Long time no blog post! I'm glad to be back, and what a palette to review on my first post in over 6 months!
The Too Faced Natural Love palette landed on the makeup scene a few months back, and launched in Australia mid June. After much hype and fuss, I decided to purchase this beauty recently. In all honesty, given that there are 30 shades in the palette, I did not expect all of them to be decently pigmented, as Too Faced (in my opinion) has a reputation for mass-releasing palettes for profit while neglecting the formula and quality of multiple shades.
To my surprise, most (if not all) shades in the Natural Love palette are decently pigmented and worth the price tag. From first glance the Natural Love palette just looks like 'another neutral' palette that just about every brand has released, but the shades vary from peachy shades, to mauve nudes, brown nudes, and red-toned nudes, with the staple matte crease shades and black liner shade. In the recent weeks my makeup has travelled with me in a bag, and I've found that the only eyeshadow palette that I have need has been the Natural Love palette - not only for its massive mirror, but the shades can be 'everyday' wearable, but can also cater to more dramatic looks. The black shade is also what I use on a daily basis to thicken up my lash line (in replacement of liquid liner).
It retails for $85 in Australia, and if you do the math, that's approximately $2.83 per shadow ($85 / 30 shades = 2.83). Given that all shades are decently pigmented, and the selection of shades, $85 AUD isn't too bad.
