Zoeva has really upped their makeup game recently - their warm/nude/cool spectrum palettes are constantly sold out, and apart from having amazing makeup brushes, they totally slay the palette game too. The 'Cocoa Blends' palette has been sold out for a while, but luckily I was on the Sephora website at the right moment ( www.sephora.com.au ) and got my hands on it.
PROS
First off, it's worth the hype.
- Matte shades and shimmery shades are consistent with pigmentation
- All shades feel buttery and easily blend
- The palette is versatile: you can create multiple looks with it (it has the staple 'neutral' shades, a matte transition shade, white/vanilla shade as well as a matte black)
- It's worth the money: $33 (AUD) for a 10-pan eyeshadow palette (of good quality) is pretty rare
CONS
- The only shade I found (kind of) disappointing is 'Infusion' - it lacks pigment and the gold glitter is barely visable
- I would like a lighter transition shade than 'Substitute for Love', (for us fair gals) but when blended with 'Bitter Start' it can work
Shade swatches (top to bottom): Bitter Start, Sweeter End, Warm Notes, Subtle Blend, Beans are White, Pure Ganache, Substitute for Love, Freshly Toasted, Infusion, Delicate Acidity.
