Kylie Lip Kit - 'Exposed' - Mini Review

Today I received the very hyped 'lip kit' by Kylie Cosmetics (Kylie Jenner's makeup line), in the shade 'Exposed', which is described as mid-tone nude beige. All lip kits include liquid lipsticks and matching lip liners, and in terms of quality, are extremely comparable to Colourpop Cosmetics 'Ultra Matte Lips'.

The lipliner that comes with 'Exposed' was extremely creamy and opaque upon first application, and stayed on my lips longer than the liquid lipstick itself. I found that the lipstick went on very liquidy, only applying 'one layer' as 'how to' on the packaging suggests. After less than a minute it dried down to a matte finish, however I found that it emphasizes the lines and cracks in my lips. It stayed well throughout the day (and even survived me eating a burger), and left a slight stain. Some say that Kylie's 'Exposed' is similar to Stila's 'Caramello' Stay All Day liquid lipstick, however I found that 'Exposed' was darker and slightly more of a warmer tone.

In terms of price, as I am an Australian it was far more expensive than in the states (due to the current exchange rate and postage). However, I think that it was worth the price in the end, and I can definitely see myself wearing the 'lip kit' in the future... perhaps even buying new shades that come out.
